Behavioral Management Training

This specialized training equips professional caregivers and staff with the knowledge and strategies to effectively and compassionately navigate challenging behaviors often associated with dementia, such as agitation, aggression, and wandering. The training teaches staff how to evaluate and understand the root causes of distress behaviors, such as an unmet need, pain, or environmental factors. This training will teach staff to maximize the use of non-pharmacological interventions, de-escalation techniques, and communication to promote a calm and safe environment for both residents and staff.
