Wisdom, Wellness, and Wholeness in Later Life
Purpose, Philosophy & Vision
Philosophy
I believe that aging is not a period of decline, but a rich stage of life filled with opportunities for growth, resilience, and connection.
I understand the challenges of later life—from cognitive changes, retirement, illness, grief, and social isolation. My work is guided by the following core principles:
- Respect for Dignity and Autonomy: Your voice matters. My role is to empower you, not define you by age or condition.
- Holistic and Person-Centered Care: I recognize that mental well-being is inseparable from physical health, social connections, and a sense of purpose. I aim to foster a sense of wholeness by addressing mind, body, and spirit.
- The Power of Connection: Psychological health flourishes in relationships. I actively work with families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to create a supportive network.
- Embracing Resilience: My practice focuses on building on your strengths, helping you navigate transitions, and discovering new sources of joy and meaning.
This philosophy guides every consultation, every interaction, and every decision we will make together.
